Kidz Club

Kidz Club is the school age summer and holiday program at the Heritage Child Development Center and is for children who have completed Kindergarten through 6th grade.  Kidz Club participants are in a fun-filled, yet structured environment during the summer months and holidays while their parents are at work.

REGISTRATION
Registration is now open for returning kids through March 12.  Beginning March 15, registration will be opened to new kids in addition to returning kids.  To register your child for Kidz Club for this summer, you must stop by the Heritage Child Development Center and drop off a completed Registration Agreement and pay the $60 registration fee.  For your convenience, you can click here to print a copy of the Registration Agreement and bring it with you when you come to pay the fee.  We cannot hold a spot until the registration fee has been paid. Make checks payable to Heritage CDC.  Your registration fee includes the summer t-shirt.

TUITION
Tuition for the week is due the Monday morning of the current week or Friday of the previous week.  There will be a tuition box at the sign-in and sign-out table.  Tuition can be paid using Plan 1 or Plan 2 (noted on the Registration Agreement) and includes daily child care and a hearty lunch.  Click here for the current lunch menu.

SUMMER THEME
This year's theme is Saddle Ridge Ranch where we will discover that God's Word (The Bible) has all the answers.  Kidz Club participants will have fun this summer as we round up questions and drive home answers.

SCHEDULE
Each day Kidz Club participants will rotate to different classes taught by our Kidz Club staff where they will have activities in each class.  The classes are Bible, Arts & Crafts, Music/Language Arts, and Physical Education/Games.  Click the links for each age below to see a sample of the daily schedule for most days.  This schedule changes from time to time due to field trips, special events, etc.

Kindergarten & 1st Grade
2nd & 3rd Grade
4th-6th Grade

LOCATION
Kidz Club is in the Kids Space, which is in the middle of the Heritage facility.  For security, we ask that you walk your child all the way in the building and into the Kids Space and sign them in and out each day.

ACTIVITY CALENDAR
Kidz Club is busy all summer not just on the Heritage Campus, but also on field trips.  As a part of our schedule, all of our Kidz Club classes will take part in Vacation Bible School the week of June 7-11 from 8:30 until noon each day.  For more information about VBS 2010 click here to be directed to the Heritage website.  Following VBS, Kidz Club teachers will get children back to rooms and ready for lunch and the normal afternoon schedule.  In addition to VBS, Jennifer Foster, Heritage Children's Minister, will be providing day camps during a few mornings this summer.
When we are off campus for a field trip, we require every child to wear their Kidz Club summer t-shirt as a safety measure.

QUIET TIME & RECREATION
We have a quiet time/nap time each day and children are encouraged to bring pillows/blankets.  These items must be taken home on Fridays as we do not have room to store them over the weekend during Sunday Children's MInistry activities.  Water bottles are also encouraged for use in outdoor activities and recreation.

MEDICINE
If you child will need to be given medicine while at the CDC, you will need to fill out an Authorization for Administering Medicine form.  These forms are available from Nurse Kim in the CDC office.  These forms are only good for one week.  No over the counter medication can be given to your child by our staff without written authorization from your child's doctor with dosage amounts and frequency of dosage.
