Some things you can expect in the CandyApples…

The children in this class enjoy being with their friends.  “No” is an automatic response, even when they mean “yes.”  They crave attention, positive or negative.  Two’s play alongside, not necessarily with their friends.  Begin to understand taking turns and sharing.  Like to take off their clothing.  Children this age like to hear that God loves them.  It is more important for two year olds to learn to be social with their friends than it is that they can recite the alphabet.

The CandyApples teachers will love on your children.  Help them discover the world around them, to get along with the friends in their class, learn new things.  Being potty trained is a major goal for all of our two’s.

Fall Schedule

7:00         Parents and Children Arrive

8:00          Morning Playtime (until 8:15)
                 Music and dancing, morning snack, potty training
                 Outside playtime 9:15 – 10:00

10:00         Morning Learning Activities
                  Morning Circle, Story Time, Art, Concept Emphasis
                   Numbers, Colors, Shapes, Sensory and Self Help Skills

10:40         Potty Training
                 Lunch begins at 10:50
                 Naptime until 1:30

1:30         Afternoon Playtime
                Music and dancing, story time, potty training, afternoon snack
                Outside playtime 2:30 – 3:15

3:30         Afternoon Activity Time
                Potty training, Bible Story, small group play, free choice centers

5:00         Movie Room
